Who We Are
My name is Eric Richter. I’m a Christian, a churchgoer, and someone who has spent years studying the Bible trying to find answers to the questions that every person eventually asks — about life, death, faith, why we’re here, and what happens when we leave.
Seeker of Christ started from a simple place: a passion to understand my faith in Jesus Christ more deeply, using the Bible as my framework. I believe the Bible is the Word of God, and that it holds the answers to the questions we as humans naturally wrestle with. I wanted to share what I was learning, connect with others on the same journey, and build a community of believers, seekers, and anyone curious about Christianity and the Bible.
I don’t have a seminary degree. I’m not a pastor or a theologian. What I am is a fellow believer who takes these questions seriously — someone who digs into Scripture, studies carefully, and writes about what I find. Every article on this site reflects that approach: Bible-first, honest about where Christians disagree, and written for real people rather than academics.
What You'll Find Here
Seeker of Christ covers the questions that come up naturally when you take your faith seriously:
- What does the Bible actually say about [topic]?
- What do different Christian traditions believe, and why?
- How do we understand difficult or controversial passages?
- What does Scripture say about the big questions — death, heaven, end times, salvation?
Whether you’ve been a Christian your whole life, you’re new to faith, or you’re just curious — this site is for you.
A Note on Perspective
I write from a Scripture-first perspective, treating the Bible as the authoritative Word of God. I don’t write from a specific denominational tradition, though my thinking generally aligns with evangelical Protestant Christianity.
Where Christians genuinely disagree on a topic, I try to present those perspectives honestly rather than pretend there’s only one answer.

If you have a question you’d like me to research and write about, I’d love to hear it. You can find us on Instagram, TikTok, or through our contact form.

We are Christians aiming to bring the Word of God to everyone, everywhere, and pursue Christ in all aspects of our lives.
In other words, each of us are a Seeker of Christ.
The Greatest Man in History… Jesus; Had no servants, yet they called Him Master. Had no degree, yet they called Him Teacher. Had no medicines, yet they called Him Healer. He had no army, yet kings feared Him. He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world. He did not live in a castle, yet they called Him Lord, He ruled no nations, yet they called Him King, He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him. He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today.
